New Delhi, Oct. 9 -- SoftBank Group Corp has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with ABB Limited, a global technology leader in electrification and automation, an official statement said.
The plan is to acquire ABB's robotics business for a total purchase price of USD 5.375 billion, the statement added.
ABB Limited is a Zurich headquartered company specializing in electrification, motion, process automation, robotics and discrete automation. On the other hand, SoftBank is a Japan-headquartered company with a focus on investment management.
