New Delhi, Nov. 9 -- Delhi Police has urged people to contribute in maintaining peace and tranquility on social media following the Ayodhya verdict by Supreme Court.

It has warned of strict legal action against mischief-mongers or those found indulging in any online activity which may adversely affect the peace and public order.

The activities on social media platforms will be under observation, the police said.

Delhi Police has advised that such platforms should be used with discretion, and users should restrain from spreading any disharmony, hatred or enmity.
