Shimla, Oct. 6 -- Fresh snowfall in the high reaches of Himachal Pradesh and continuous rain across several parts of the state have triggered an early onset of winter-like conditions, disrupting road connectivity and forcing people indoors.
According to the latest report issued by the Lahaul and Spiti Police, several key routes in the district have been closed due to heavy snowfall and adverse weather.
Roads from Darcha to Shinkula, Darcha-Sarchu (NH-003), Koksar to Palchan via Rohtang Pass, and Koksar to Lossar via Kunzum Top have been shut down following overnight snowfall.
The police have warned travelers to avoid unnecessary movement as conditions remain unstable.
