Indore, Oct. 19 -- Smriti Mandhana's wicket proved to be the turning point in the match as India Women narrowly lost to England Women in a tense encounter at the Holkar Cricket Stadium here today, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur said.

"I think Smriti's wicket was something which was a turning point for us," Harmanpreet Kaur said after the match.

Harmanpreet stated that the team had put in a strong performance but the final five or six overs did not go according to plan, making the defeat "heartbreaking."
