Hyderabad, March 24 -- The State Media Accreditation Committee (SMAC) on Tuesday held a meeting in Hyderabad and sanctioned accreditation cards to eligible journalists after a detailed scrutiny of applications.
The meeting, held at the FDC Board Room, was chaired by Press Academy Chairman and SMAC head K Srinivas Reddy, along with I&PR Special Commissioner and SMAC Co-Chairperson Ch Priyanka. Committee members reviewed all applications submitted by journalists seeking accreditation.
Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Reddy said accreditation cards would be issued strictly in accordance with government guidelines, ensuring that no eligible journalist is left out.
