Shimla, Dec. 16 -- Followers of the Himalayan Brahmo Samaj on Tuesday clarified that their petition before the Supreme Court was confined only to the issue of right to worship and performance of pooja at the Himalayan Brahmo Samaj temple, and not to any broader claim over property or management, even as the apex court dismissed their Special Leave Petition and upheld the Himachal Pradesh High Court order.
According to the devotees, the Special Leave Petition was filed challenging the High Court's refusal to entertain their plea and seeking permission for devotees to offer prayers at the temple.
