Seoul, March 8 -- South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, who was released on Saturday following a court decision to cancel his detention, left a pretrial detention center and greeted supporters who had gathered, the Yonhap news agency reported.
The president thanked the court's courage and determination in "correcting illegality" before getting into a security car and apparently heading to his residence.
