Bengaluru, Jan. 31 -- Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil on Saturday made headlines by saying the state deliberately chose not to sign any Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Speaking at a press conference, Patil said, "We consciously decided not to sign MoUs at Davos because we wanted the investors to come to Karnataka and see for themselves the resources, talent pool, and policies for investors."He added that the state held 46 bilateral meetings with global and Indian companies, investors, academic institutions, and country leaders, covering sectors such as aerospace, defence, advanced manufacturing, beverages and food processing, space technology, data centres, and digital infrastructure.
