New Delhi, July 10 -- Aiming to enhance employability opportunities and further career of tribal students, the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has inked a pact spanning five years with Tata Motors Limited (TML) here.
As per the pact, tribal students completing their Grade 12th from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), will be eligible to be enrolled with the Tata Motors Kaushalya Program, said a statement from the Ministry.
The move is expected to benefit over 50,000 Class XII students enrolled in EMRSs across 28 states and 8 union territories. Such students will also get the stipend.
