Bhubaneswar, Jan. 19 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Monday emphasized that skill development should be closely linked with entrepreneurship.
Interacting with participants of the Chief Minister's Skill Development Fellowship Programme at Abhishek Hall in Lok Bhavan, the Governor highlighted that the objective of training should go beyond preparing individuals for employment.
He said that when people are trained in a particular field, they should be equipped with skills that enable them to explore entrepreneurial opportunities rather than limiting themselves to jobs.
"Skill development should empower trainees to think innovatively and create enterprises," he added.
