Srinagar, Feb. 5 -- Two individuals were rescued when the duo came under a snow avalanche that struck the ski resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir's Baramulla district this afternoon.
A snow avalanche occurred at a designated controlled skiing green zone in Gulmarg during the late afternoon, trapping two individuals under the debris, independent weather forecaster Kashmir Weather said on Monday.
He said the prompt actions of the local skiers who were present there led to the rescue of both people on time.
The duo are safe and sound, he said.
