Shimla, Dec. 25 -- SJVN, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has successfully achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of its 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project in Rajasthan, marking a major milestone in the company's efforts to strengthen the nation's renewable energy capacity.
SJVN Chairman and Managing Director, Bhupender Gupta, emphasized that it reflects not only the company's technical excellence but also the dedication and coordinated efforts of employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
The project, located in Bikaner district, is being implemented by SJVN through its wholly owned subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL).
