Kannur, Sept. 21 -- The two-day fifth state conference of Senior Journalist union Kerala (SJUK) will be held in Kannur at Chamber hall, from tomorrow.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate its delegates meeting on September 23.
A seminar titled "Democracy: Hope and Fear" will be held, with media expert R Rajagopal presenting the topic tomorrow at Chamber hall. Senior journalists N Madhavan Kutty, Kerala union of Working Journalist (KUWJ) General secretary Suresh Edappal, BJP national committee member C K Padmanabhan and Visual media Journalist M V Nikesh Kumar will also speak of the event.
Former Mathrubhumi news editor K G Jyothirghosh will moderate the discussion.
