Umsaw Khwan, Dec. 23 -- Altogether 68 trainees, including 21 lady officers, passed out of the premier North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) here in Meghalaya on Monday, with Meghalaya Director General of Police Idashisha Nongrang reviewing the Passing Out Parade.

Out of the total trainees, 42 were Deputy Superintendents of Police (probationers), 1 Cadet Inspector and 25 Cadet Sub-Inspectors/Assistant Sub-Inspectors. The trainee officers were from Meghalaya (15,) Manipur (5,) Nagaland (24,) Tripura (10,) and 14 were from Sikkim.

The parade was commanded by Dipendra Adhikari, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Probationer), Sikkim Police Service.
