Ghaziabad, Jan. 13 -- A tragic incident has come to light from Ghaziabad district, where a six-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her own father and stepmother. The incident occurred in Mohalla Bajigiran of Dasna under the Wave City police station area, police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim, identified as Shifa, was playing outside her house on January 12 when she accidentally fell into a drain, soiling her clothes. Enraged by this, her stepmother, Nisha Parveen, allegedly assaulted the child. She later complained to Shifa's father, Akram, who is accused of brutally beating the girl with a stick. The severe beating caused serious internal injuries, leading to Shifa's death on the spot.
