Kolkata, Nov. 16 -- Six people were killed in two separate traffic accidents, both involving motorcycles and cars, in two separatedistricts, official sources said today.
In an incident, three youths, who were riding a motorcycle, died after their two-wheeler was collided head-on with a dumper on Purulia-Jamshedpur NH 18 in Purulia this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Sk Romjam, Sk Bilal and Asar Ansari, the residents of Beldi village under Barabazar block of Puruliadistrict.
Pol;ice said the trio died on the spot after being struck by the heavy vehicle.
