Agartala, Oct. 9 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today announced that six more Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) are set to be operational by March next year, which will play a crucial role in preserving tribal culture, language, and tradition besides providing quality education.

After inaugurating the newly built 480-seat EMRS campus at Pravapur in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC), he said that EMRS is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aimed at ensuring holistic education for Scheduled Tribe students in rural areas.
