Mexico City, Feb. 2 -- Six Mexican citizens who were on board the medical transport plane that crashed in the US city of Philadelphia on January 31, have been killed, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Saturday.

"I regret the death of six Mexicans in the plane crash in Philadelphia, US. The consular authorities are in permanent contact with the families. I have asked the Foreign Ministry to support them in whatever way is required. My solidarity is with their loved ones and friends," Sheinbaum wrote on X.
