Patna, Feb. 1 -- At least six people were killed and two others seriously injured in a collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw on National Highway-30 under Bihta police station area here early morning.
According to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer Danapur, Amrendra Kumar Jha, the autorickshaw was carrying eight passengers who were returning towards Ara after visiting the Urs fair.
The accident took place when a truck rammed into the autorickshaw.
Five passengers died on the spot, while three others sustained serious injuries. The injured were rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), where one more person succumbed to injuries during treatment.
