Agartala, April 14 -- At least six leaders of the opposition CPI-M were hospitalized with serious injuries on Monday in Kamalpur of Tripura's Dhalai district, allegedly after being attacked by ruling BJP cadres during the celebration of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar.
The party state committee member and former MLA Anjan Das alleged that during the celebration, a group of BJP workers armed with sticks indiscriminately attacked the gathering at Bamuncherra area along National Highway in broad daylight.
