Kolkata, Oct. 9 -- Six Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by police in two separate raids conducted early today morning in the Domkal subdivision of West Bengal's Murshidabad district.

The arrests took place in the Bhatshala area under Domkal police station and the Harudanga border area under Raninagar police station.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Domkal Police Station conducted a raid in Bhatshala, where two individuals - identified as Akash Sheikh (20) and Rabi Sheikh alias Soun Sheikh (19), were arrested.

Both are residents of Kishorganj village in Karimganj district, Bangladesh.

In a separate operation, Raninagar Police arrested four others from the Harudanga border village.
