New Delhi, Nov. 27 -- A court here on Wednesday sent six persons, arrested for allegedly raising slogans in support of slain Naxalite Hidma, to three days in police custody.
The six accused are Ahan Arun Upadhyay, Akshay ER, Vishnu Tiwari, Prakash Raj Gupta, Sameer Faiyaz and Akash.
The Delhi Police had sought a seven-day custodial remand, stating they needed to confront the accused with each other to unearth the entire conspiracy, identify their funding sources, and determine the mastermind behind them.
The arguments for the remand were presented in court by Devesh Mahla (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), New Delhi.
