Bengaluru, Aug. 23 -- The investigation into the sensational Ananya Bhatt missing case has taken a decisive turn, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) preparing to record the statement of Sujata Bhatt, a key figure in the case, at her Banashankari residence, police officials confirmed here today.

Sujata Bhatt, who is over 70 years old, had earlier requested more time to appear before investigators citing health complications and psychological stress.
