Bengaluru, Sept. 17 -- In a significant development in the Dharmasthala murder case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) today resumed excavations at Banglegudde in the Dharmasthala temple town.
The excavation operation involved a team of 50 to 60 personnel, including SIT officers, Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO), and other supporting staff, who closely monitored the work carried out by civic authorities. The team brought several materials to aid the process, including a sack of salt, five to six plastic PVC pipes, and boxes for collecting evidence.
Despite intermittent rainfall, the excavation continued between the 11th and 12th previously identified burial sites.
