Guwahati, Oct. 6 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today said the report of the Special Investigation Team on Pakistani climate activist Ali Tauqeer Sheikh is "damaging and damning". Sarma said this while addressing a press conference on Monday and added that the report was tabled before the cabinet on Monday.
"We discussed the report informally today. We are going to make public the gist of the report soon. We cannot make the whole report public due to obvious reasons," he said adding that a gist of the report would be made public soon.
"I can only tell that the report is very damaging and damning. It is bad,"he said.
