Nagpur, Dec. 9 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today informed the Maharashtra Assembly that the Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the Phaltan doctor suicide case, has completed its inquiry and will file a charge-sheet shortly.
Speaking during Question Hour, Fadnavis described the incident as "highly unfortunate" and said it had triggered widespread public outrage.
He confirmed that a judicial inquiry is also underway to ensure all aspects of the case are thoroughly examined.
According to the chief minister, the investigation so far has led to the arrest of two accused, Gopal Badane and Prashant Bankar.
