New Delhi, Jan. 8 -- Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Thursday said people should be told the truth about what the previous government did or failed to do on pollution control over the past 11 years.
He claimed that the current government has taken concrete steps within 11 months and delivered some of the cleanest air days in recent years.
Sirsa said air pollution is a serious public health issue and should not be politicised. Keeping this in mind, the Delhi Assembly session has been extended by one day to allow a detailed discussion on pollution and long-term solutions.
