New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is heading the Durga Pooja organising committee, on Monday chaired a high-level preparatory meeting to review the status of arrangements for the upcoming celebrations, and informed that out of 134 applications received so far, 97 have already been cleared, with the rest to be approved after due diligence.
Highlighting the government's commitment to eliminating hassles of red tapism, the minister announced the creation of a dedicated single-window system for all the approvals regarding the arrangements for the festivities.
