New Delhi, Nov. 7 -- Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Thursday chaired a review meeting with the environment department's senior officials and took stock of the situation at the city's thirteen air pollution hotspots, and gave strict instructions to expedite pollution mitigation measures.

He reviewed the ongoing progress of the teams that are on ground- zero, involved in pollution mitigation and also took updates on the actions by the enforcement teams (pollution control measures).

During the meeting, Sirsa directed on-ground teams to ensure pothole repairs, paving of roads, water sprinkling to mitigate dust, proper disposal of industrial waste, prevention of open burning of waste and biomass.
