Lucknow, Jan. 23 -- Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said the BJP wants to rig the electoral roll and the SIR process is the same way as the NRC (National Register of Citizens).
"The fight to save democracy continues and Samajwadi Party leaders and workers must remain vigilant. There is a difference of four crore votes between the Central Election Commission's electoral roll and the State Election Commission's voter list. Now they should explain which list is correct," he questioned.
Addressing a large number of party workers from various districts of the state at the SP state headquarters here, Yadav urged them to fight the 2027 assembly elections like the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
