London, July 11 -- Top seed Jannik Sinner marched into his maiden Wimbledon final with a commanding 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 victory over a physically struggling Novak Djokovic today, setting up a blockbuster title clash with defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

The 23-year-old Italian took just under two hours on Centre Court to complete a clinical demolition of the seven-time champion, who appeared hampered by a thigh issue sustained during his quarterfinal against Flavio Cobolli. Despite a brief third-set resurgence from the 38-year-old Serb, Sinner remained in firm control to reach his third consecutive Grand Slam final.
