Patna, Aug. 10 -- Denying the allegations of RJD top gun Tejaswi Prasad Yadav regarding his name appearing in the voter lists of two separate Bihar assembly constituencies, Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha today clarified that he had already taken steps to correct the issue before Yadav's accusations.

Sinha told newspersons here that after the Election Commission released the draft voter list under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, he discovered his name was still recorded in both Lakhisarai and Bankipur constituencies.

Sinha said that on August 5, he submitted an application to the Booth Level Officer (BLO) to remove hua nane from the Bankipur voter list.
