Hyderabad, June 11 -- A surprise police raid was conducted at a resorts in Chevella, Rangareddy district, around midnight on Tuesday, where popular folk singer Mangli was celebrating her birthday.
According to reports, Mangli had hosted a party for around 50 guests, including family, friends, and some members from the film industry, at a resort located on the outskirts of Irlapalli village in Chevella mandal. The Special Operations Team (SOT) of the police conducted a raid around 1400 hours.
Following the raid, police registered cases against singer Mangli, the event organizer, the resort manager, and one individual who reportedly tested positive for drug use (Ganja). Charges include organizing a party without prior permission and causing...
