Jammu, May 7 -- At least 12 civilians, including a woman and four children, were killed and as many as 60 injured after Pakistan resorted to heavy mortar shelling and artillery firing on Wednesday in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The cross border shelling started soon after Indian armed forces carried out missile attacks on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir to avenge April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that had left 26 civilians dead.
