Sindhu, Sen spearhead India's challenge at Swiss Open
Basel (Switzerland), March 17 -- Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will spearhead India's challenge at the Swiss Open 2025 badminton tournament, commencing at St Jakobshalle here on Tuesday.
World No. 16 PV Sindhu is set to face fellow Indian Malvika Bansod, ranked 28th in the women's singles, in the opening round. Anupama Upadhyaya, Aakarshi Kashyap, and Rakshitha Ramraj are the other Indian contenders in the women's singles draw.
In men's singles, World No. 15 Lakshya Sen leads the Indian contingent and will take on compatriot HS Prannoy, the 2016 Swiss Open champion, in the first round. Priyanshu Rajawat and Kiran George are also part of the men's singles lineup.
