Simdega, April 4 -- Hockey Simdega will organise the 7th Sub-Junior Women's Hockey Championship 2026 from April 30 to May 3 at the AstroTurf Hockey Stadium in Simdega.
The tournament is being held as part of the Simdega district foundation day celebrations, officials said.
Teams from across the district will be allowed to participate free of cost.
According to organisers, only players belonging to Simdega district and born on or after January 1, 2011 will be eligible to take part. Players who have represented any state team in Hockey India national competitions will not be eligible.
Matches will be conducted on a league basis before the knockout stage.
