Gangtok, Sept. 17 -- Sikkim marked the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi witha series of grand events, showcasing the government's commitment to service and community welfare.
Governor Om Prakash Mathur and Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang led the celebrations, which were part of the Sewa Pakhwada initiative.
The events began with the flagging off of ten new city runners from Force Company Urbania and Traveller. This was followed by the launch of Resource Recovery initiatives and the lighting of 75 butter lamps at Utsav Plaza.
The Governor and CM also released a QR code, promoting digital engagement, and announced the rollout of Swachhata Hi Sewa 2025, administering the Swachhata Pledge to participants.
