Bengaluru, Oct. 21 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today launched a sharp attack on the BJP, claiming its leaders, including R Ashoka and Vijayendra Yediyurappa, act only on instructions from the RSS.
"They merely read what RSS writes for them. Ashoka himself once told me, 'if we don't say what the RSS orders, they won't spare us,'" he said.
Speaking after launching modernisation works in Chickpet and road white-topping projects in Gandhinagar constituency, Siddaramaiah accused the BJP and the Centre of misleading people about Bengaluru's development projects.
He said the state contributes 87 per cent of Bengaluru Metro's funding, yet the BJP falsely presents it as a Central government scheme.
