Bengaluru, March 19 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has written to Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, seeking urgent intervention to streamline the supply of commercial LPG in Bengaluru amid growing shortages affecting the hospitality sector and allied services.

In his letter, the Chief Minister referred to a Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas order that prioritised LPG supply for domestic consumers. He said the State Government has acted in accordance with the Centre's indicative guidelines and has taken steps to regulate and prioritise allocation for essential segments.
