Bengaluru, April 16 -- Former Karnataka Minister and BJP MP Dr K Sudhakar on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is using the caste survey report as a political manoeuvre to consolidate his position and send a message to the Congress high command against any move to unseat him.

Addressing the media here, Dr Sudhakar said Siddaramaiah's sudden push to implement the long-shelved caste survey report is aimed at projecting himself as the undisputed leader of the Congress party's traditional support base.
