Bengaluru, Aug. 3 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has strongly condemned the alleged poisoning of a government school's drinking water tank in Hulikatti village, Belagavi district, terming it a "heinous act" rooted in communal hatred and fundamentalism. The incident, reportedly aimed at ousting a Muslim headmaster from the school, has led to the arrest of three individuals, including Sagar Patil, the taluk president of the Sri Ram Sena. The incident came to light after several children fell ill upon consuming the contaminated water.
