Bengaluru, Nov. 19 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today expressed strong frustration over members of backward and Dalit communities joining the BJP, RSS, and ABVP, despite these organizations' historical opposition to them.
He also indicated that his government is ready to raise reservation limits to 70-75 percent based on economic, social, and educational criteria. "As long as I live and remain in politics, I will stand for social justice," he asserted.
Siddaramaiah credited Rahul Gandhi for his principled push, which pressured the central government to conduct a caste-based census, with Karnataka committed to implementing it.
