Bengaluru, July 6 -- Amid mounting political speculation in Karnataka, former Chief Minister and BJP MP, Basavaraj Bommai, today hinted that Congress may be preparing to replace Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, possibly offering him a national role as chairman of the party's backward class wing. "This is an internal matter of the Congress, but as a Kannadiga familiar with state politics, I've seen this pattern before," Bommai said.
