Koppal, Oct. 6 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today dismissed speculation about a possible change in leadership next month, asserting that there would be no "November revolution" in the state's Congress government.

Speaking to reporters in Koppal, Siddaramaiah said, "No revolution, nothing of that sort. They are all illusions." His remarks came in response to comments by BJP leaders and a few Congress MLAs suggesting that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar might replace him after the government completes 30 months in November.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah's financial advisor, Basavaraj Rayareddy, expressed confidence that Siddaramaiah would complete his full five-year term, even as he hinted at his own aspirations for the top post....
