Bengaluru, Dec. 6 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, branding him a "manuvadi" following his alliance with the BJP using the solemn occasion of Ambedkar's 69th Mahaparinirvana Day to draw a stark ideological contrast.
Speaking to the media after laying floral tributes at Ambedkar's statue on the east side of Vidhana Soudha, at a programme organised by the Department of Social Welfare, Siddaramaiah described Ambedkar as a rare and visionary leader who fought not only for Dalits but for all marginalised communities denied social justice in the country.
