Bengaluru, Nov. 27 -- Karnataka's political Twitter battlefield flared today as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah fired back at Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar's "word power" tweet, amid rising speculation over a possible CM change.
While Siddaramaiah stressed that promises must translate into real benefits for the people, Shivakumar's post underscored loyalty and the significance of leadership positions.
Siddaramaiah tweeted, "A Word is not power unless it betters the World for the people," and laid out his government's achievements. "Over 600 crore free trips have been provided under the Shakti scheme. 1.24 crore women-led families have been empowered through Gruha Lakshmi," he said.
