Kalaburagi, Sept. 30 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, along with cabinet colleagues MB Patil, Krishna Byre Gowda, and Priyank Kharge, conducted an aerial inspection of flood-affected areas in Kalaburagi district today to assess the extent of crop damage and relief needs following the recent heavy rains.
The inspection focused initially on the severely affected villages in Kalaburagi, which have experienced extensive damage due to overflowing rivers, particularly the Bhima.
Before the aerial survey, the Chief Minister arrived at Kalaburagi airport by a special flight and held a preliminary meeting with senior district officials to review the situation on the ground and ongoing relief operations.
