Bengaluru, April 23 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of citizens from the state who lost their lives in the incident. "Among the tourists from Karnataka, Manjunath Rao and Bharat Bhushan have tragically died. A team of officials has already been dispatched to Kashmir to ensure the safety of Kannadigas and to make necessary arrangements," the Chief Minister said in a statement issued here.
