Chennai, April 26 -- The Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) organized an Executive Round Table on Doing Business with Indonesia at the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center in Chennai on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, SICCI Vice-President AMPA Palaniappan highlighted that Tamils have a long history in Indonesia.

After Rajendra Chola I's invasion of the Srivijaya Empire in 1024-1025, there was a noticeable increase in Tamil economic activity in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.
