Chennai, Nov. 27 -- Increasing budgetary allocation for the space sector, infrastructure status and a blended incentive structure are some of the 2026-27 budget wish list submitted by the Space Industry Association of India (SIA-India), an official said on Thursday.
Prepared in collaboration with KPMG, the recommendations reflect extensive industry consultations and highlight that the cost of maintaining the status quo is now far higher than the fiscal outlay required for timely and well-calibrated intervention, the SIA-India official said.
